Leslie, thank you for visiting the site and for your kind comments.

You had me worried at one point when you mentioned the possible glitch with the pages in the site.

As I told you at the time, it was working OK at my end.

I was relieved when you mentioned that it was your computer that was causing the problem.

Take care,
Andy

Hi Dave,

Thank you for visiting the site, your comments and for taking the time to sign the guestbook.

It's unfortunate that you did not learn about the OPPVA before 1990.

As for your question about becoming a member at this point in time, yes you can, and I will contact you directly with the necessary information.

Take care,
Andy

Hi Andy,

I enjoyed the site. Great work. Obviously you continue to have good health and the ability to get things done. It is great to see that some of us older guys are still proud of the organization we enjoyed working for. I only hope that the present generation will continue to carry the torch.

Hi Ellwood,

Thank you for visiting the site, your comments and for taking the time to sign the guestbook.

I remember when you were with the Renfrew detachment.

I guess that you served in Belleville with two officers who were with the Pembroke detachment at one time...A. Smith and B. Flegg.

Do you remember Sgt. Harry Boyd who was with the Pembroke detachment and retired while at the Morrisburg detachments?

Harry moved away and is now living in Kingston.

Take care,
Andy

The picture that you show as being at 125 Lakeshore Blvd. is actually around the corner on Queen's Quay. It was there for several years before it was moved to what had been the Labatt's Brewing garage about 1963.

Very interesting Site! I am currently painting a picture for the O.P.P. for an Auction for Camp for Kids in Kingston, Ont.
Would be most interested in if you had any more pics to see on the History of the O.P.P.
If so I would be interested in seeing them and hopefully use some a references for the paintings.

Thanks Lin.

Are you a collector of the patches and badges? Or do you just have photo's. I started collecting back in 1978 when I was a member of the OPP Auxilliary in Ottawa, and I just retired after 34 plus years on the 31 Dec 2014. If you have these sort of things I would like to arrange to drop by and see them in person. I live in Brockville and retired from Leeds county. My E Mail is above. Thanks Bob
